Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a traditional and structured form of yoga that originated in Mysore, South India. It was developed in the 20th century based on the teachings of Krishnamacharya. The practice follows a fixed sequence of postures, synchronized with breath, movement, and gaze. This creates a meditative flow that builds strength, flexibility, and inner clarity through consistent and focused practice.

Traditionally, Ashtanga is taught in the "Mysore style" where postures are introduced to students one by one. Over time, this allows a personalized practice to develop, tailored to each individual.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is a classical form of yoga that focuses on balancing body and breath through steady postures and conscious breathing. Rooted in the ancient Indian text the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, it was traditionally practiced to prepare the body for meditation. With a slower pace and emphasis on alignment, Hatha Yoga supports strength, stillness, and a deepening of inner awareness.
