I’m an Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga teacher and dedicated practitioner with a deep passion for self-inquiry, devotion, and the wisdom and guidance found through yoga.

I spent years working in the corporate world in Amsterdam, but it left me with a growing sense of emptiness and a longing to discover what lies beyond the surface of things. I began attending regular yoga classes, and over time I felt a quiet call to leave everything behind and go to India.

 

India opened my heart in ways I never expected. It was there that I discovered the path of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga and something in me recognized it deeply. I fully immersed myself in the culture and traditions of the land, traveling extensively and studying with teachers across North and South India. I was searching for truth, for something more real than the stories I had been told about who I was. I wanted to strip away the layers of personality and ego that are so often emphasized in the West and come closer to what is our true essence, our true being.

Along the way I explored the practices of Hatha yoga, bhakti yoga, and the teachings of ancient Ayurveda and Indian philosophy. I have spent an extensive amount of time with my teacher in Mysore who helped deepen my understanding of the inner path that yoga offers. What began as a physical discipline became a truly devotional and spiritual journey.

Today I’m based in Maastricht, the Netherlands where I teach Ashtanga Vinyasa and Hatha yoga to the local and expat community as well as to university students. I offer both online and in-person private classes for students who seek personalized guidance on their path.
